I fell in love with travel about twelve years ago, and I’ve managed to go on an international trip about once per year for the past five or six years. While I’m not a frequent traveller and don’t get to go on as many adventures as I’d like, I have learned a lot. I love joining travel groups on social media and digging into travel tips and tricks, and my luggage and travel items have been slowly taking over my closet.
Last year I helped my parents find and book a trip to Europe for their 50th anniversary this year, but since they don’t travel often, they’re a little nervous. My mom has gone on a few trips with me, but my dad hasn’t flown in over 20 years. Because I’m a little extra, I put together a travel guide for them. It includes packing tips and checklists, information about navigating the airport, and even ideas for souvenirs and making the most of your trip.
Since creating this guide for my parents, I’ve had friends ask for travel tips, so I created this version of the guidebook to share with them, and I’m making it available here, too. I hope you find it helpful! If you do, please leave like this post or leave me a comment. I’m also happy to answer any questions you may have.
